Raids

Pikers will spawn in raids if at least one of the players participating in it has high enough Soul Energy.

In a raid, pikers are more common in the earlier waves and decrease in number as the waves progress.

Drops

  • 0-1 Iron Ingots if killed by the player, with the maximum increased by 1 with each level of looting.

Behavior

When not aggressive, pikers will have different idle and walking animations.

When moving, they make metal shaking sounds.

Attacking

A pikers attacks by stabbing their target with their pike. Non-allied entities within 3 blocks in front of them will also get stabbed and take damage.

Pikers have a slightly shorter melee reach than vanguard servants.

Pikers cannot pick up items like other modded illagers, like preachers.

Trivia

    • The current helmet are textured and slightly modified from the variant helmets to look more similar to a morion helmet.

  • Much like the vanguard servant's weapon, the piker's equipment are part of their model and are not an actual items in the mod.

A piker is an armed with a pike found in , or as a participant in if a nearby player has high enough . It attacks similar to .

Pikers have a chance of spawning as part of an . They spawn if nearby players that have 5000 (by default) or more Soul Energy. The number of pikers that spawns near the player increases, the more soul energy the Player has.

5 points when killed by a player, tamed wolf or servant.

Pikers are hostile toward , , and adult . Pikers also aid other pikers attacked by other mobs.

Pikers are based on , specifically ones that took part of the Spanish and Portuguese 15th to 16th century conquests.

The pikers helmets are based on the variant helmets from Minecraft Dungeons.

Originally, the helmets were supposed to look like that were worn by conquistadors during the 16th century.
