Spawning

Natural generation

Haunted armors spawn during the generation of particular crypt rooms and hallways. They can naturally spawn in crypts as well.

Drops

Haunted armors spawned in crypts have a 5% chance of dropping each armor piece it's wearing. They also have a 2.5% chance of dropping their fell blade and the regular chance of dropping other equipment.

Behavior

If haunted armors are somehow bereft of all of their armor, they will instantly die.

Shielding

When encountering a target, the haunted armor will slowly circle around them while crouching and holding up their shield for 3 - 5 seconds.

Once they drop their shields, they will charge at their target, weapons up and perform melee attack. They will not hold up their shields for another 6 - 10 seconds, but the cooldown would be reduced when taking damage.

Their shielding follows the same mechanics as the player when they use a shield, projectiles and attacks would be blocked, barring certain attacks like magic, damaging the shield in the process, and using an axe will cause them to drop their shields for 15 seconds, though the cooldown would still be reduced by taking damage.

Behavior

Haunted armor servants share the same behavior as natural spawning Haunted armors except they are hostile to hostile mobs and mobs that hurt their summoner.

Haunted armor servants will naturally be hostile to hostile mobs if spawned without summoner, though much like natural spawning armors, they will instantly die if they do not have any armor on.

Haunted armor servants are variant of the normal haunted armor.

Equipping a full of and right-clicking it with an , after reading a , will spawn a loyal haunted armor servant.

Much like all summons, haunted armor will follow their summoner unless they are in the middle of combat. As it is undead, haunted armor heal with their summoner's soul energy if summoner wears and can be commanded to with a .
