A grimoire of goodwill is an item that allows the player to make their no longer target or aggressive towards certain mobs or players.
When hitting a mob or a player with the book, adding them to their internal "goodwill list", causing all of the player's servants to no longer retaliate or target towards them.
Right-clicking on the grimoire will show the entities the player has a goodwill on. Doing this while crouching will show the entity types.
Right-clicking the grimoire onto an entity the player has a goodwill on, will remove them from their "ally list" meaning the player's servants can target them once more. Shift-right clicking on them will remove the entity type.
When hitting the entity while crouching will add the entity's type to the "goodwill list" (ie, hitting a with the grimoire while crouching will cause the servants to no longer target all pillagers).
Adding goodwill to an entity or entity type will remove them from the player's list if they are on it.
The icon on the grimoire means Pact/Oath on Warhammer Fantasy's .
