The dark armor is a set of armor made of dark metal ingots that's capable of self-repairing using soul energy.
Each piece is crafted using a Forge Ritual.
Two pieces of the same armor pieces can be repaired by crafting them together or placing both on a grindstone.
A piece of dark armor can be repaired in an anvil by adding dark metal ingots, restoring 25% of the armor item's maximum durability, rounded down.
Armor Piece | Armor Points | Toughness | Durability |
---|---|---|---|
Helmet | 3 (Default) | 2 (Default) | 165 (Default) |
Chestplate | 8 (Default) | 2 (Default) | 240 (Default) |
Leggings | 6 (Default) | 2 (Default) | 225 (Default) |
Boots | 3 (Default) | 2 (Default) | 195 (Default) |
Each piece of dark armor, by default, provides 30% knockback resistance and have 20 enchantibility. Each piece also provides some protection against Magic, Fire and Explosion damage.
Dark armor stats can be configured in goety.toml.
Wearing the full set allows the player to slowly regenerate health, 1 health point (0.5 hearts) per 2 seconds, even when low on food.
Each piece of dark armor provides a stackable 5% soul energy discount when consumed from the player directly, either through totems or arca. The discount does not affect blocks that uses soul energy.
If an armor piece is equipped or within the player's inventory, it will repair itself one durability every second, consuming the player's soul energy. The amount is specified under "itemsRepairSouls" in goety.toml. If the player does not have the specified amount of soul energy, the tool will not repair itself.
Wearing the full set will cause Servants to be capable of giving the player soul energy when they kill a mob or player.
The armor set is visually based on Dark Armor from Minecraft Dungeons and Crimson Praetor Armor from Thaumcraft.
