Flame Hands is an effect that causes melee attacks to set targets on fire.
When the affected attacks a mob or player through melee attacks, it will set the target on fire for 4 seconds. The effect level increases the burning duration.
Flame hands are primarily caused by custom brews with the initial duration of 3 minutes, with a Flint and Steel catalyst.
