A necro brazier is an artifice that's used to create dark metal ingots.
Necro braziers are crafted using a Forge Ritual.
Necro braziers are only active when placed down in a deep dark biome. When placed outside of the biome, the brazier will be inactive, not emitting light or particles.
Entities, that are not immune to fire, wearing Frost Walker boots and/or not undead, will take fire damage when standing on top of the brazier.
When placed in the right biome, the brazier can produce dark metal ingots. The brazier requires one ghast tear, one sculk block, one cursed metal ingot, and 1000 soul energy to produce a single dark metal ingot. The items can be, thrown on top, right-clicked or hopper in, the brazier.
The brazier requires the usage of soul candlesticks to siphon soul energy from filled cursed cages.
The brazier can siphon from multiple candlesticks within 16x16x16 area around itself.
If the cursed cages do not have enough soul energy to create a dark metal ingot, it will spill out all of its content with a failed sound effect.
Necro braziers and how it produces dark metal ingots are inspired by Botania's method of crafting Terrasteel.
Originally, necro braziers would only require to be placed on top of a filled cursed cage to siphon soul energy, instead of using soul candlesticks.
The green flames of the necro braziers are based on several instances of green fire particles appearing throughout the levels of Minecraft Dungeons.
