Conquillagers are hostile mobs armed with that can spawn if the player has high enough . They attack by firing at the player and can spread a virulent effect called ''.

Spawning

Raids

Conquillagers will spawn in Raids if at least one of the players participating in it has high enough Soul Energy. Conquillagers have a chance of spawning when a Pillager is spawned in the Raid, with the chance increasing based on the level of Bad Omen the player had when activating a Raid.

Drops

  • 8.5% chance of dropping their weapon, which increases by 1% per level of Looting with random durability.

Behavior

If their target get within 16 Blocks near them, the Conquillager will attempt to back away much like Piglins.

Trivia

  • Conquillager is the combination of the words 'Conquistador' and 'Illager'.

  • Conquillagers spreading Illague is based on how the Spanish and Portuguese brought many diseases during their conquest of America.

  • Their usage of Fireworks instead of Arrows and their gunpowder drops are based on the usage of guns during the European conquest of America.

  • The Cocoa Beans drop is also a reference to the European conquest of the new world.

Conquillagers spawn with a crossbow, that is enchanted with IV, on their main hand.

Conquillagers have a chance of spawning as part of an . They spawn if nearby players that have 6250 (by default) or more soul energy. The number of Conquillagers that spawns near the player increases the more soul energy the player has.

A Conquillager attacks similar to , except they shoot exclusively fireworks from their crossbows instead of arrows. They will not shoot their fireworks if there's a raider (ie. Illagers, ) within 5 blocks of the player, unless its them or a .

Conquillagers will infect every non-raider and non-undead, within 8 Blocks from them, with and constantly emits Illague particles despite not being infected themselves. Players and Villagers will get 5 minutes of Illague from them, while other mobs gets around 2 minutes instead.

Like and , Conquillagers will seek out and pick up any dropped or . They can pick up two if their offhand is empty, as any picked up Totem either goes on their offhand or in their internal inventory.

Conquillagers are based of Conquistadors from the Spanish and Portuguese 15th to 16th century conquests. Their outfits based on the Portrait.
