A soul menderer is an artifice that uses soul energy to repair damaged items.
Soul menderers are crafted using a Forge Ritual.
Soul menderers can be broken with an iron-level pickaxe. Any item placed in it will also dropped when the block is broken.
The menderer requires a filled cursed cage placed beneath it to be active.
A damaged item can be inserted into the menderer by right-clicking the block with it or placed through hoppers. The soul menderer can only accept one item at a time.
By default, every 0.5 seconds, the soul menderer will siphon 1 unit of soul energy from the cage to repair 1 durability point of the placed item. If the item is enchanted, each enchantment multiplies the soul energy cost (ie, and item with one enchantment will cost 2 soul energy, two enchantments will cost 3 soul energy, and so on.). When repairing, the menderer emits soul flame particles from itself.
If the item is no longer damaged, the menderer will spit the item out of itself.
The amount of seconds and soul energy to repair 1 durability are configurable under "soulMenderSeconds" and "soulMenderCost" in goety.toml.
