A crone hat is a curio that's equipped on the head slot. It can be seen as an upgrade to the witches hat as it can replace it as part of the witches set.
A crone hat can be obtained only by defeating crones. One hat is dropped each time; the dropped amount is not affected by the Looting enchantment.
Much like the witches hat, the crone hat speeds up the potion brewing time done in witches robes.
While brewing with witch's cauldron, wearing the crone hat gives a chance of gaining two extra brews instead of one like witches hat.
