A rampaging axe is an axe that can give the player the Rampage effect.
Rampaging axes are made using the Forge Ritual.
A rampaging axe can be repaired on an anvil with cursed metal ingots. They can also be repaired by combining two of the same type of items together in a crafting interface, or grindstone.
The rampaging axe functions as a diamond-level axe with all associated functionalities.
When the axe is used to kill a mob/player or break a block that's mineable by axes, it gives the player the Rampage effect for 10 seconds.
If the player already has the effect, when killing another mob or player with the axe, while the effect remains, will have a 1/3 chance of resetting the duration and increasing its level by 1. If the killed entity has more than 20 maximum health (10 hearts), the level will always increase.
Breaking a axe mineable block will give a 25% chance of increasing its level, with a 75% chance of resetting the duration while keeping the remaining level.
If the player has Rampage V, the next kill, not broken block, will cause a non-destructive explosion to appear at the player's location that would damage any nearby entities, except said player or entities immune to explosions, and removing the effect entirely.
Rampage is a status effect which slightly increases attack damage and attack speed per level.
Increases melee damage by 1 (0.5 hearts) and attack speed by 10% per level.
