Usage

The death scythe have the same functions as the ominous scythe.

Scythe Slash

If the player's attack recharge above 84.8%, and not mining a block, they will let loose a scythe slash projectile which will fly through the air from them until it reaches a block or has been flying for 300 ticks.

Any entities not allied with the wielder will take the same amount of damage as an non-enchanted scythe while also providing the wielder with soul energy each time the affected entities take damage.

If "scytheSlashBreaks" under goety.toml is enabled, the slash will also break blocks, that are mineable by scythes, within its vicinity.

Sapping

Trivia

Death scythes are crafted using the .

A death scythe can be repaired on an anvil with . They can also be repaired by combining two of the same type of items together in a crafting interface, or .

Mobs or players hurt by the scythe or its projectile will receive the effect, which increases all incoming attacks by 20% per level, for 60 ticks. If they already have the effect, there's a 10% chance of the effect's level increasing per hit.

The death scythe is based on from Castlevania, specifically the one from Dawn of Sorrows wielded by boss.

Visually, the top part of the scythe's rod is based on the from Minecraft Dungeons.
