The mirror focus allows the player to summon doppelgangers to distract hostile mobs.
Mirror focuses are crafted using a Animation Ritual.
The spell summons 4 doppelgangers of the player, all sharing the same skin and armor, equipped with a bow. They cannot copy the player's curios.
The doppelgangers will shoot non-damaging arrows at hostile mobs. If the spell is cast while looking at a non-allied mob or player, the doppelgangers spawn targeting them.
Mobs that were targeting the player will change targets to a doppelganger.
Doppelgangers will instantly disappear if they or their owner takes damage.
Doppelgangers will always have a lifespan of 1200 ticks and will never drop their equipment.
Casting the spell while there are still existing doppelgangers will cause them to disappear as new ones are summoned.
If the player wears an illusive robe, they will gain invisibility, for 1200 ticks, after casting the spell.
Doppelgangers arrows will also deal a small amount of damage.
Doppelgangers behave differently if the player wears a full Nameless Set.
Doppelgangers summoned by the player will be invulnerable to most damage, will never move from their position, and will be wearing the Nameless set. Instead of being equipped with a bow, they will instead hold a Nameless Staff, and will shoot one Necro Bolt at a hostile mob or targeted entity once before disappearing.
If cast while looking at a target-able entity, the doppelgangers will spawn surrounding them instead of the player.
The spell is based on the Illusioners and the Nameless One's mirror attack from Minecraft Dungeons.
As of this writing, Doppelgangers don't copy the player's Lich Form.
