Cairn Necromancers have a 2.5% chance of dropping a forbidden piece, with a 1% increase per Looting level.
Spell-casting illagers, witches and warlocks that spawn with a structure have a 2.5% chance of dropping a forbidden fragment with a 1% increase per Looting level.
Chest Loot
Forbidden fragments are always found in crypt pithos after killing the skull lord.
Forbidden pieces can be found in various crypt chests.
Both pieces and fragments can be found in ancient cities chests.
Bartering
While wearing Witches Set or Warlock Robes, a witch, warlock or crone have a small chance of them bartering a forbidden piece when given an emerald.
